
LiveChat — Zendesk integration tutorial
The integration covers:
- creating tickets on-the-fly during live chat with a visitor,
- forwarding offline messages as tickets directly to Zendesk,
- tracking your Zendesk visitors and placing live chat button on your support pages using Custom widget mechanism.
1. Activate Zendesk integration
To integrate your LiveChat account with Zendesk, go to the control panel to Settings » Add-ons » Zendesk and enter your Zendesk page address.

2. Create tickets from the chat window on-the-fly
Creating new Zendesk ticket within your chat window is very simple. Just click the Zendesk button during conversation with a visitor:

3. Forward LiveChat offline messages to Zendesk
Once the Zendesk integration is turned on, LiveChat will automatically forward all after-hours messages left by the website visitors to Zendesk.
4. Track Zendesk visitors
This part of the integration allows you to track your Zendesk visitors on any Zendesk page which supports widgets. This will let your customer have their questions answered in real-time directly on the website.
