Infusionsoft: attaching chat transcripts to contacts
With LiveChat – Infusionsoft integration you will be able to pass the chat transcripts to your Infusionsoft panel.
To install the integration with Infustionsoft, you need to complete these steps:
- Log in to your LiveChat panel and follow this link.
- Click on yellow Install button in the lower part of this page.
You will be redirected to a page with details of the integration.
There you will be asked to provide your Infusionsoft address and Encrypted Key which are inside of your Infusionsoft panel.
- Log in to your Infusionsoft account.
Infusionsoft address can be found in the URL of Infusionsoft panel.
To get your Encrypted Key, click on Infusionsoft logo in the upper left corner of the panel and choose Settings under Admin section.
Next, choose Application in the menu on the left. Scroll down the page and copy your Encrypted Key from API section.
- Copy those credentials to the integration section in the LiveChat panel.
- Click on Save changes to finalize.
Congrats, the integration with Infusionsoft is up and running! From now on you can pass chat transcripts to your Infusionsoft panel.
If you check the Automatically create Contacts after each chat field, every chat transcript will be passed to your Infusionsoft panel automatically.
If you leave this check-box empty, you will be able to pass selected transcripts directly from chat window.
The transcripts will be attached as a note to your existing Infusionsoft contacts. If you decide to pass a transcript of a chat with someone who is not registered as your contact, a new contact will be created.
