We are happy to announce that our team has finally completed work on LogMeIn Rescue integration. This solution allows operators to use LiveChat to support their visitors or customers more efficiently. With LogMeIn Rescue integration they are able to help the visitors/customers by viewing their desktop remotely.
What is LogMeIn Rescue?
LogMeIn Rescue is a web-based management console that provides remote computer access for professional help desk personnel.
How does it work?
You can easily integrate LogMeIn Rescue and LiveChat so that your support teams can quickly access, view, and remotely fix problems, without pre-installed software.
First of all, an administrator should go to the Control Panel and activate the integration. Then a new button in operators’ chat window will show up.
Using the integration
Now operators can click the button for the first time and a form will be opened in their web browser. They are requested to type in their LogMeIn Rescue details. If no mistake is done, the LogMeIn Rescue Technician Console will be opened in new tab of web browser.
A link with LogMeIn Rescue application is generated and delivered to the visitor who they are chatting with. The visitor will see information about a request to run the LogMeIn rescue application.
The visitor can Allow or Cancel this request. If he/she agrees, LogMeIn application will be downloaded and run. Now operators can help solve visitors’ problems even more efficiently by sharing the desktop remotely.
